La Federación Internacional de Asociaciones de Apicultura es una organización mundial cuyo objetivo principal es establecer relaciones entre las personas y asociaciones que se dedican a la apicultura.Publica una revista para dar a conocer toda la información divulgativa y científica sobre apicultura. La revista se llama Apiacta.Cada dos años organiza un congreso llamado Apimondia, siendo un encuentro entre científicos y apicultores que se reúnen en diferentes países de los 5 continentes.
Propósito[]
La federación internacional de las asociaciones de la apicultura (Apimondia) es la fundadora de la Fundación Apimondia. Las oficinas de la fundación de Apimondia están situadas en Bucarest, Rumania.
La fundación de Apimondia es una organización no-guvernamental con personería jurídica distintiva, que funciona como personaje autónomo, no-politico, legal y privada en Rumania.
Los propósitos de la fundación de Apimondia son los siguientes:
- Persigue el desarrollo científico, técnico y económico de la apicultura en Rumania y en el mundo entero.
- Guarda relaciones y una cooperación más cercanas en los variados niveles de la actividad entre los apicultores, las organizaciones actuando en el interés de apicultores y la apicultura, y otros círculos interesados.
- Apoya cualquier iniciativa que deba contribuir con eficacia a la mejora de la práctica de la apicultura y a la distribución provechosa de lo productos resultados de esta actividad.
